Unilamp is honored to be part of the “Long Heal” exhibition by SHMA, supporting the project as a lighting sponsor at Lan Khon Mueang (City Hall Plaza). Through this collaboration, Unilamp provides architectural lighting solutions that help shape the atmosphere of an urban forest designed to heal both body and mind.
Presented as part of Bangkok Design Week 2026, the exhibition highlights the role of design in transforming public green spaces into meaningful “third places” spaces beyond home and work that support everyday life, social connection, and long-term well-being.

The exhibition, developed under the concept “Urban (Fo)rest,” responds to rising urban temperatures caused by climate change, dense buildings, and the loss of green spaces. As cities grow hotter, well-designed green areas become essential not only for cooling the environment, but also for improving public health and everyday well-being.
“Long Heal” transforms a rigid urban hardscape into an elongated pocket forest that encourages people to slow down and reconnect with nature. Light plays an important role in this experience. It guides movement, highlights textures, and supports interaction through sight, shadow, and color without overpowering the natural elements.
For this project, Unilamp supplied a selection of outdoor luminaires that balance performance, flexibility, and visual comfort.
KUBIK was used to illuminate trees, plants, and landscape elements from short to medium distances. Its robust design, precise aiming, and high-efficiency optics make it suitable for outdoor green spaces, sculptures, columns, and open areas. The flush glass design also helps prevent dust and water accumulation, ensuring reliable performance throughout the exhibition period.

LuxBeat, used as RGBW lighting in this project, adds color and rhythm to architectural and landscape details. Its compact linear form allows flexible installation along paths, structures, and folded surfaces within the forest layout. The uniform light output and precise control help create subtle color accents that enhance the immersive experience, especially at night.

ALPHA, also applied as RGBW lighting, supports dynamic lighting scenes within the exhibition. With its compact size, clean beam control, and flexible mounting options, ALPHA fits seamlessly into both professional and temporary outdoor installations. It helps bring visual depth to the space while remaining easy to install and adjust.

Organized by SHMA, the “Long Heal” exhibition takes place from 29 January to 8 February 2026 at Lan Khon Mueang (City Hall Plaza). The project reimagines green space as a “third place” that helps relieve urban heat while supporting everyday well-being, based on the concept of “Longevity” that focuses on long-term quality of life and holistic health.
Unilamp is proud to support SHMA’s vision by providing lighting that works in harmony with nature and design. This collaboration reflects a shared belief that thoughtful lighting, combined with landscape and architecture, can help create more livable and sustainable cities.
