Installation work has to be carried on according to the enclosed installation manual of Unilamp.
The water drainage system must be tested to ensure that it is working sufficiently. Water must drain in not more than 30min from the installation niche. Insufficient drainage will result in moisture accumulation within the luminaire housing.
Power supply must be cut off before installation of the inground luminaire.
The inground luminaire must be installed flush to the installation surface to prevent accumulation of water and being a trip hazard.

Check properly the minimum distance to the lighted surface.
Regularly check lens and keep it clean and free of debris such as dirt, sand, leaves, mulch, etc. to maintain the light output.

Any damaged safety glass cover must be replaced only with the original spare part.
Check the luminaires once a year for accumulated dirt or debris. Clean when necessary in order to maintain the light output.
Only use solvent-free cleaning solutions on the inground luminaire. Consult the Unilamp after sales team for assistance.
Install a surge protection device to suppress high voltage transients and prevent damage to the electronic control gear.
Installation should not be done under high humidity environment e.g. rainy day or after the rain, foggy weather.
Do not let the exposed part of the inground luminaire be covered by the soil, dried weeds or foliage.
Do not use chemical compounds and aggressive agents such as weed repellents fertilizers, acid solvents, and contaminated irrigation water near the inground luminaire.
Do not use a high pressure washer to clean the luminaire.
