Installation work has to be carried on according to the enclosed installation manual of Unilamp.
Unilamp's underwater luminaire can install in both the chlorine pool and saltwater pool that is a salt concentration from 5,000 ppm – 50,000 ppm.
All mounting hardware, such as screws, must be made of 316 stainless steel to prevent corrosion which will cause damage to the underwater luminaire
Carefully check the dimension of the underwater luminaire and verify suitability of the installation location.
In case of installation of recessed underwater spotlights, verify that the installation housing and wall from a water tight assembly. It must be avoided that water can leak into the wall structure.
Keep the installation area and luminaire clean from debris during and after installation.
Check the luminaires lens every six months for accumulation of dirt, algae or other kind of debris. Clean when necessary in order to maintain the light output.
Inspect the luminaire housing every six months for stains. Clean with appropriate tools and chemicals if necessary
Clean the outer surface of the luminaire with a damp microfiber towel or similar soft fabric.
If necessary use a suitable cleaner for the housing or lens. Follow the directions of the used cleaning product.
Follow the product specific directions in the installation manual. Most underwater luminaires must be submerged in water when operated.
Do not use any tool that can scratch the underwater luminaire front frame.
Only use appropriate cleaners near or at the luminaire. Unsuitable cleaners will cause damage to rubber seals and corrode the housing. Consult the Unilamp after sales team for recommended cleaners.
Do not use a high water pressure (power washer) at the luminaire. High water pressure will damage the underwater luminaire.
