Unilamp Appoints New SAARC Regional Manager

Unilamp is pleased to announce the appointment of Akash Kawadiwale as SAARC Regional Manager, effective 5 January 2026. This strategic appointment marks an important step in strengthening Unilamp’s presence across South Asia and reinforcing its long-term commitment to the region.

Strengthening Leadership Across SAARC

Akash steps into this expanded role after three successful years leading Unilamp’s Western India operations. During this period, he developed deep expertise in Unilamp’s product portfolio, built strong relationships with lighting designers and channel partners, and demonstrated a clear understanding of the architectural outdoor lighting market in India.

Prior to joining Unilamp, Akash gained valuable experience across the broader lighting industry. This background has equipped him with both strong technical knowledge and practical market insight—key strengths that will support UNILAMP’s continued growth across the SAARC region.

Driving Growth Across South Asia

In his new role, Akash will continue supporting Unilamp’s existing PAN-India operations from the Mumbai office, while leading regional growth initiatives across SAARC markets including India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan, Bhutan, Maldives, and Afghanistan.

This expansion will includes:

• The opening of a new Unilamp office in Kolkata
• The addition of a Business Development Manager to strengthen the Delhi office
