
Unilamp Is Hiring: Regional Business Development Manager – Northern India
Unilamp is seeking an experienced Regional Business Development Manager – Northern India to lead specification-led business development across the region. This role is suited for a senior professional with a strong background in the lighting industry and a proven track record in managing specification-driven projects and channel partner networks.
Position Overview
The Regional Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing and strengthening Unilamp’s business activities across Northern India, with a primary focus on engaging lighting designers, architects, consultants, and overseeing both existing and new sales partners. The position operates under a remote working arrangement, based in Delhi, and requires up to 50% regional travel to support ongoing business development activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive specification-led business development across Northern India
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with lighting designers, architects, and consultants
- Manage and expand the existing channel partner network
- Identify new business opportunities and grow market presence for premium outdoor architectural lighting
- Represent Unilamp and its international lighting portfolio professionally in a competitive market
- Work independently to manage territory performance and achieve business growth targets
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the lighting industry in a similar business development or specification-led role
- Proven success in growing specification-driven sales
- Extensive existing network with lighting consultants, specifiers, and industry professionals in Northern India
- Demonstrated experience managing and expanding channel partner networks
- Strong understanding of high-end outdoor architectural lighting
- Essential experience representing premium international outdoor lighting brands
- Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable working without direct hands-on management
- Strong communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience securing and executing government projects
- Proven success in developing sales partnerships in tier 2 and tier 3 cities
